CPR Training Can Save the Life of a Loved One Most out-of-hospital cardiac arrest emergencies happen at home. Therefore, you’re most likely to use your CPR and AED training to help a family member or loved one by providing care while you wait for EMS to arrive. That being said, many people are called into action to save the life of a stranger. In fact, we regularly post about these everyday heroes on our social media to help highlight the importance of learning CPR. If you’re interested in CPR certification, we encourage you to contact Garden State Emergency Training, inc to practice your compression technique and receive lifesaving training that can be used at home, in the workplace, and in your community.

  • Adult CPR

    This course gives you a comprehensive introduction to basic emergency care when responding to adults needing CPR. 1 to 6 students 2 ½ hrs. 6 to 12 students 2 ½ hrs. to 4 hrs.

  • Adult CPR / AED

    This course gives you a comprehensive introduction to basic emergency care when responding to adults needing CPR, using an automated external defibrillator (AED).

    1 to 6 students 2 ½ hrs. 6 to 12 students 2 ½ hrs. to 4 hrs.


    Cost: $50.00 per person (cards issued) Over 11 Students $40.00 per person

  • Adult & Child CPR

    This course gives you a comprehensive introduction to basic emergency care when responding to adults or children needing CPR.

  • Pediatric First Aid

    The initial care provided for an acute illness or injury in children and infants. The goals of pediatric first aid include prevention, preserving life, alleviating suffering, preventing further illness or injury and promoting recovery. Pediatric first aid can be initiated by anyone in any situation including self-care.

    3 Hours for Students

  • Basic Life Support (BLS)

    This program is for participants to gain or improve knowledge and skill proficiency in high-quality CPR skills and teamwork for the adult, child, and infant.

    1 to 6 students 2 ½ hrs. 6 to 12 students 2 ½ hrs. to 4 hrs.

  • Advance Bleeding Control

    This program uses a step-by-step procedure and skill guide to provide guidance for assessing, prioritizing, and stopping life-threatening bleeding based on scientific evidence, national guidelines, and the consensus of experts. This course presents many of the most common illnesses and injuries responders are likely to encounter.

  • Emergency Medical Response

    A person who is among those responsible for going immediately to the scene of an accident or emergency to provide assistance.

  • Hazardous Materials Awareness

    The Hazardous Materials Awareness course provides students with training to proficiency in identifying hazardous materials; utilizing the U.S. Department of Transportation's 2024 Emergency Response Guidebook (ERG) to identify hazardous materials risks and protective actions, utilizing hazard communication documents to identify hazardous materials risks and protective actions, and determining awareness-level personnel and public protective actions.

  • Bloodborne Pathogens to OSHA Standards

    This training program includes information that will help students understand what bloodborne pathogens are and how risks of exposure can be reduced for themselves and others. This bloodborne pathogens certification course assists in satisfying the training requirements of the U.S. Department of Labor, OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Standard (29 CFR 1910.1030). For Healthcare Facilities and Tattoo Artists

  • Fall Prevention Training to OSHA Standards 29 CFR 1910-21

    This training guide will help you plan how to prevent injuries and fatalities from falls among your crew/employees and provide training to your workers.

  • Confined Space Awareness to OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910-146

    OSHA uses the term "permit required confined space"(permit space) to describe a confined space that has one or more of the following characteristics: contains or has the potential to contain a hazardous atmosphere; contains material that has the potential to engulf an entrant; has walls that converge inward or floors.

  • Lockout/Tagout to OSHA Standard 29 CFR 1910-147

    This standard covers the servicing and maintenance of machines and equipment in which the unexpected energization or start-up of the machines or equipment, or release of stored energy could cause injury to employees. This standard establishes minimum performance requirements for the control of such hazardous energy.

    2 ½ hours for students
